What are the barriers to overcoming that issue, and what do you believe is the best approach?
  • Barriers include high expectations from educators, coaches, and parents; time; comparisons on social media; short attention spans seeking immediate gratification and comparisons.
  • Approaches: explicit teaching about growth mindset, mindfulness, individual and tram progress, being teachable, and embracing and learning from mistakes, challenges, and ambiguity.
